is there a reason why this AOL pop up says "I've always wanted an alter ego. Now with AOL I can have one"?

Does that not creep you out??

It creeps me out.

It also creeps me out that last night I had a dream about Witthoft and a kitten.

*blink*

Thank god I don't remember the rest of it.

So... this weekend... umm... yeah. The time went really slowly, but the weekend itself was far too short, and didn't have enough sleeping in it.

Gah... rainy days are meant for sleeping and being lazy, and I had to work.

Saturday I worked at the football game... wasn't very exciting, but that's okay. It was really cold. Even with all of my layers, I was shivering half the time...

of course, the fact that it was raining didn't really help. minor detail...

I worked at Mel's on sunday. Except we're not allowed to call it "Mel's" anymore. It's just "holiday foods" now. Met the new manager... don't think he knows I'm quitting in a week, but he seems like a nice guy who knows what he's doing. Perhaps he'll be able to turn the place around... too bad I won't be there to find out.

So... on my break, I got a little bored and decided to read one of the random "progressive grocer" magazines they have in the back room... I was amused. Articles titled "hot sauces are smoking in the condiments aisle" and "batter up: mix upgrades boost cake sales" are always amusing. Well... yeah. They're so poorly written, and they're about such stupid things... I can't help but laugh at them. But what amused me the most was the cover article... not so much the article, but the cover, really... "Wal-mart vs. the World - America's lead retailer pursues global plans." Wal-mart vs. the World?? Ahahahahaha... accompanying this nice headline was an equally nice picture... it was a silhouette of a man on the horizon, with a huge moon coming up... I'm sure you've all seen a picture like it before... except the moon had a shadow of the Wal-mart smiley face... 'twas very disturbing.

amusing, in an odd sort of way.

gah, my spelling is horrible.

So... went to Alex's Friday night, w/ tom and tony... that was fun... got my mind off of the fact that Friday afternoon was a really bad one...

Roro's party was on Saturday, that was a lot of fun. Watched a disturbing movie and played a game of capture the flag, which only ended because people CHEATED... *cough*... lol. It was fun... dark and wet and people were running around and falling down and yelling profanities at each other... it was great.

Roro's neighbors are on crack, though. I'm not sure why flashing their lights at us brought them so much amusement. But whatever.

So... hmm, what else to say, besides "it's monday morning and i haven't done my math homework"... nothing really. I get to drive my beat up car to school today. That will be delightfully humiliating. And slightly scary. Ah, paranoia... what would I do without it?

well... I suppose there might be stuff to say, but not in here. I shall talk to people in person if I feel the urge to talk at all.

heh. yeah, right.

me, talk?
