jazz championships were yesterday. it was TOTALLY awesome.

we got 2nd... which isn't quite as good as we did last year ("we," as in the people in jazz ensemble, which doesn't actually include me), but still... nobody even thought we would get that far.

and in finals... we played... the BEST I think we've ever played before. The energy was high, we were in tune, I didn't hear any wrong notes... we were all just pumped and playing well.

man... the adrenaline rush... the excitement... the music... the group bonding... all of it... it was just... great.

I *heart* jazz band...
